Ideal Customer
- ngenious explicitly targets businesses of all sizes, with pre-packaged SASE solutions designed for SMBs seeking fast, low-friction deployment and a comprehensive enterprise-grade suite for large multi-location organizations.
- Their documented customer examples include a marketing agency in Nebraska with 150 employees on a Fortinet SASE deployment and a corporate customer with 15,000+ employees on a Cisco SD-WAN deployment.
Key Differentiators
- ngenious differentiates itself through three self-described pillars: a turnkey Intelligent Edge Marketplace offering pre-packaged SD-WAN, SASE, AI video, and IoT solutions ready for zero-touch deployment; prepackaged SASE solutions spanning both SMB and enterprise tiers to reduce pre-sales complexity and accelerate go-to-market; and an integrated orchestration platform (.connect) that manages the full technology lifecycle from configuration and deployment through real-time SLA monitoring and evergreen updates.
- A key architectural differentiator is the tight integration between the Intelligent Edge layer and Rubidex Core, which ingests edge data in an encrypted, governed, and AI-ready format — positioning ngenious as a 'trusted data' pipeline from the physical edge to enterprise AI systems, rather than a standalone connectivity or camera vendor.
Industries Served
- ngenious targets education (K-12 schools and districts), government, corporate enterprise, retail, logistics, utilities, and healthcare, with dedicated 'Intelligent Industry' solution packages for each.
- The schools vertical is particularly prominent, with E-Rate, BEAD, and CARES Act funding navigation support offered specifically for educational institutions.
Service Coverage
- ngenious describes itself as having built a global connectivity platform, with its .connect orchestration platform and SD-WAN/SASE offerings designed to support customers across distributed, multi-site environments including small branch offices up to datacenters and headquarters.
- The company's Telarus channel partnership explicitly covers the U.S., Canada, Australia/New Zealand, and the UK as listed service geographies.
Partnerships
- ngenious's primary go-to-market channel partnership is with Telarus, one of the largest U.S. technology services distributors (TSDs), through which technology advisors can quote, sell, and deliver ngenious solutions; ngenious is fully integrated into the Telarus back-office including Solution Vue and the Decision Matrix.
- On the technology vendor side, ngenious's marketplace and product documentation prominently feature Fortinet (FortiGate firewalls, FortiGate 40F/60F/100F/200F appliances for SASE and SD-WAN), Cisco (Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ISR1100X routers), and Cisco Meraki (Meraki MX series for SD-WAN and IoT) as the primary hardware and networking stack.
Company Size & Ownership
- ngenious is a very early-stage company, estimated to have between 1–12 employees according to ZoomInfo and RocketReach, with annual revenue under $5 million (estimated around $1 million).
- It was founded approximately in 2024 and made its first acquisition in October 2024 when it acquired LMZ, a company specializing in remote device orchestration and complex IT environment management.
Compliance & Certifications
- No specific third-party compliance certifications — such as SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001 — are publicly documented or advertised on the ngenious website or in available public sources.
- The platform emphasizes security-by-design principles including SASE-based encrypted connectivity, data governance through the Rubidex Core layer, and zero-trust access concepts, but these are architectural claims rather than audited certifications.
